The Constantia Green Belts occupy a couple of areas throughout this leafy suburb. There are a number of trails where you can walk your dogs, and some where you can ride your horse.
There are numerous cycling routes from easy to challenging in and around Constantia. Terrain ranges from tar or gravel road to off-road. Bike hire also available.
Little Stream Constantia Tea Garden and Conference Centre is located on 7 acres of beautiful landscape nestled between Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia Wine Estates. Muriel Jones (1890–1974) a South-African philanthropist donated the property to the YMCA in 1974.
Klein Constantia is a historic spot along the 300-year old Constantia Wine Route in Cape Town. The farm forms part of the vast property that was established by Simon van der Stel himself, some 300 years ago.
Situated alongside our newly renovated tasting room under the Jacaranda trees, The Bistro @ Klein Constantia has created a unique wine and food experience.
The Wine Tasting experience is housed in the historic wine cellar with it’s traditional thatched roof, white washed walls and rare yellow-wood ceilings. The interior is casual, generously furnished with leather couches, small lounges and a tasting bar.
Buitenverwachting’s Coffee shop offers a variety of artisan coffees made from freshly - on-site - roasted coffee beans.
The Restaurant is situated in one of Buitenverwachting’s original thatch buildings and forms part of the historic complex of the wine estate.
